The research being undertaken by the Dolphin Ecology & Acoustics Project focuses on the population abundances, social structure, habitat use, behaviour and communication of coastal dolphins. We assess the impacts of human activities on dolphins and their environment and develop recommendations for management that can be implemented to aid in their protection and conservation. We currently have three main projects underway and many more in the making.
