Nancy is one of the most distinct dolphins that live in Byron Bay. She was first seen in October 2003 with a calf. She is usually encountered milling and socialising around Cape Byron and feeding around the reefs and off the beaches from Byron Bay to Lennox Head. Nancy is regularly seen in the group with Scallop. She has a very nurturing temperament and has been seen babysitting other female’s calves.
NANCY HAS A NEW CALF!!! Born around 11th February 2010, the calf looks healthy and is staying close to mum.
